Zion National Park
This cartographic set was created for GEOG 180: Cartography, and depicts some unique ways of symbolizing Zion National Park. The proposal, as it was termed, needed to be something fresh and new, and required us to symbolize a national park without using the color green a single time! Instead of symbolizing the forests with green, I used a pale desaturated tan, which in contrast with the red canyons suggests at least some vegetation. After completing my bold yet informative print map, I was then tasked with converting it to a web map in ArcGIS Online.
